August got off to a great start with the OIAA Georgian Bay Chapter's annual charity golf tournament aiding Special Olympics Barrie.  The heat and a temporary lightning delay did nothing to dampen the spirits of participants.  The staff at Shanty Bay GC were extremely helpful and welcoming.  Congrats to our Croquet Challenge winners; Yvonne (wine) and Eric (Jays tickets).  Thanks to the participants, sponsors & organizers for a great day in support of a great cause.   While the number hasn't been finalized, a little bird mentioned that it looks like more than $5,000 was raised for Special Olympics Barrie.  Fantastic!
