Daniel Couture acted as host to Claire Kennedy, P.Eng., of Bennett Jones LLP,  her family and friends at the recent Ontario Professional Engineers Awards Gala held on November 21, 2015 in Mississauga.  Ms Kennedy received the Citizenship Award.

Daniel has volunteered for more than ten years as the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers representative on the Awards Committee, which adjudicates  the nominations and determines the winners of the prestigious Engineering Excellence prizes and the Gold Medal.  Since 1947, the Ontario Professional Engineers Awards (OPEA) have recognized professional engineers in Ontario who have made outstanding contributions to their profession and their community.
