May 05, 2016 | Authors: Jillian Leblanc

In this entertaining and informative article, Arcon's Jillian Leblanc uses statistics and her experience as a Collision Reconstructionist to dispel urban myths regarding the use of or rather the lack of use of seatbelts by a portion of the Canadian population. These laws began to trickle into provincial legislation in 1976, with the last province jumping on board in 1987.  The increase also may be due to changing societal standards.  Still though, that last 4% of people persist in coming up with reasons not to wear their seatbelt.  Do they know something we don’t?".
