Arcon is Looking for a Mechanical Engineer
November 19, 2018 | Authors: Daniel Couture

Arcon requires a Mechanical or Materials Engineering graduate now on track to become a Professional Engineer, with some industrial experience and familiarity with a broad range of mechanical equipment and failure analysis techniques. The position will involve analysis of the causes of failures involving HVAC equipment, mechanical devices, plumbing components, appliances or small equipment.

You must have an eagerness to learn, be confident and self-motivated, and have excellent leadership and communication skills. The position requires superior analytical and problem solving abilities, and excellent written and oral English skills, since attendance before a judge and jury may be required in the course of your duties.

The path of career progression will involve managing your own investigations and supervising the work of others who assist you, to fully explore, document, analyze, and report on the causes and contributing factors to the component failure issues. Eventually you would be consulting with our other expert personnel, liaising with their investigations and providing your developed advanced expertise for peer review and/or joint investigation and supervision of complex investigations.
